after happily enjoying myself to the max this CNY, now its back to work.. sobs.. (read: back to my usual mundane and boring and meaningless life cause baybee is not here and i hate to go to work)

lets talk about happy things and think back the happy times during my long break!

to kick start the new year with prosperity and happiness, we always lou sang, and this year is one of the year where i 'lou' the most 'sang's... pre CNY already 2 or 3.. during CNY lagi banyak... Out of the so many that i 'lou'ed, the one in the picture below was the perfect one!

It was homemade by my mom, its a combination of fruity and traditional yee sang and i tell you its superbly AWESOME!!! its like food meant for the kings and oh btw, i decorated it too! isn't it cute?? i drool every time i think of it now, and in this instant, i vow to ask my mom make it again this weekend!! woo hooo!!!

on CNY eve, we went over to Uncle James's house for reunion with my mom's side family. This is the whole group of us, with my grandparents except Robin cause he's enjoying winter somewhere else! i bet he'd really missed us!!! hahahhaha!! but we did chat with him over skype and i can see in his eyes, green with envy of us having a good time here back home!!

On the 3rd day of CNY, we went to Sitiawan to celebrate my 4th grand aunty's 80th birthday (the lady in Blue)

On the 4th day of CNY, we're already back in Raub and Ping's family went to Ah Fatt restaurant to have dinner... After dinner, we waited to watch the firework at the Padang Besar smacked right in the middle of Raub town.. we were there early to be able to book a nice spot by the road..

Everyone enjoyed the firework display although we had to wait a long time for it. It was spectacular to see such big firework at a small town like Raub..

The second blast i managed to capture with baybee's iphone. oh ya, he's not in the picture cause he's sleeping at home!! hahahhaha
