My latest scent-diction

It all started with a sale by The Body Shop!
So I checked out online, and was attracted to the Vanilla shower gel because;
1. It was on 50% off at rm14.50

2. TBS shower gels to me were like special indulgence... So once it's on sale, I grab some
I also planed to buy the other shower gel like Raspberry and Passion Fruit, provided that I liked the smell. So after work, I accidentally got myself to a BodyShop outlet to buy them.

At the first sniff, I was blown away! The smell of Vanilla captured my heart and I feel in love with it immediately. However, it was unfortunate that they had only the small bottle there. The bigger bottle was Sold Out! Heart broken, I bought two small bottles, cause I just loved the smell but unwilling to pay so high price for shower gel. I also bought the Raspberry shower gel but left out the passion fruit one. From my choices, it was obvious that I liked sweet scent.

So there I was, sniffing that bottle of shower gel all the way home. I planned to go to another outlet to try look for the bigger bottle Vanilla shower gel but ended up calling every outlet nearby after a light bulb moment! Ta-da! Disappointed that all outlets are out of stock, I called EVERY OUTLET in Selangor/kl, Kluang, Alor Setar, Penang and Rawang... Where there will be people who can help me buy. But I ended up disappointed as well. I even went till the extent of pleading with TBS online people if they can look for me. Finally, reward for not giving up, I found that there are available stock in Kuala Terengganu!!!!! I was so so so happy and told Pingu, practically instructed Pingu to go buy them for me... Of course, I had reserved it ahead! Muahahahhahhahah

So now, I have 6 bottles (250ml) Vanilla shower gel, 2 travel size bottles, and 1 body mist!

I could not control my addiction, that I decided to go look for the EDT/ body mist...
I bought the mist as it was on 20% discount...

And I plan to buy the EDT soon.... Let's see how long this addiction lasts....

P/s; while looking for the body mist, I was introduced to their best selling fragrance range as well.., the Japanese Cherry Blossom... It was sweet..... My next target... :)

Surprise for michele!!

i know.. its more than a month since i updated my blog here...

i am not that busy actually its just that i have no computer at home for me to use,

my ipad is not 'jailbreaked' so cant use free blogging tool and

not so free (not in the mood) to blog from office

excuses, excuse3s.. yadda yadda..

i know my japan post is taking wayyyyy too long for me to complete and its like almost a year already!

anyway, here's a commercial break 

one day, my company tendered for a job from Tan Chong and my colleague was going to submit the tender

and coinccidently, i baked some bread the day before and brought some to office

so at the very last minute, i made my colleague wait for me

and i made this!! and wrapped in a plain brown envelope.

of course i didn't tell her! obvious rite? SURPRISE mah!!

so my colleague left the parcel at the receptionist for her

inside is one hot dog bun :)

i was waiting for email from her...

expecting her to be damn gan cheong, surprised and show off...

emailed all of us and tell us about it!!

NO! that didnt happen :(

so what to do? i got my collegue to drop her a call..

then this girl ah, called back to ask who is it from

(i supposed she started thinking after she confirmed receiving the item)

pink obsession

these days.. something weird happened to me...
i seemed to have a big crush on pink stuff
and also find hello kitty...cute...

all these started when i saw this mouse on one of those group coupon buys..
and i made yennee buy for me as my Christmas gift!

it was super cute lor!! and then i got addicted!
when i saw this on sale in one of those coupon buys... i did not think twice...
i just bought it immediately! btw, its mosquito repellant if you must ask

and so, i have been craving to buy a calculator for myself....
to be used in office... and maybe at home too, i went and search high and low for it...
saw it in night markets, in hello kitty shops... but i was too kiamsap to buy it...
and then when i had the chance to buy this beauty at a good rate, i bought it right away!!
it was pure esctasy!! like pure sense of achievement!!

and then when i bought the calculator, i could buy some more things at really good prices, i bought this!! hello kitty car shade... as you know, i have just changed car.. and i thought this was really worth it !

can i have this????

hmmm.. i dont seem to have gotten into a habit to update my blog anymore...
or perhaps my life is just too awesome that i have no pictorial updates?
ahh... lazy to just type about updates in life!

anywayz... i've got a new car... yay! and i have no picture of it yet....
and it's now covered with MUD.. so.. i guess i'll need to clean it up a bit...

and yup... am working really hard to a healthier lifestyle...
going for aerobics 3times a week... so far i could say my attendance is not so good...

Playing 40 Questions on Skincare & Makeup

Saw this Q&A in www.beautyholicsanonymous.com so I thought I'd try it out for fun. It serves to perk me up during sleepy afternoons at work! Hahahhaha! Feel free to get to know my routine better and advice/comment if I did anything not right.

SKINCARE

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
Twice. Once morning once night

2. What skin type do you have?
Combination skin. Oily with black&white heads T-zone, Large pores at cheek area, and occasional breakouts esp nearby menstrual cycle.

3. What is your current facial wash?
Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser in the morning and Estee Lauder Nutritious Purifying 2-in1 foam cleanser at night (can double as deep cleansing mask as well)

4. Do you exfoliate?
I am now learning to stick to a regime of exfoliation twice a week but previously, I am only doing it when I feel like it

5. What brand do you use?
Currently Body Shop Tea Tree Oil scrub. But planning to change because I feel the beads are not sufficient for a satisfying scrub. Discovered a new range by Eversoft, so will try it when my current one runs out.

6. What moisturizer do you use?
Biothern's Aquasource Deep Hydration Replenishing Gel for morning and night. Finishing my tub soon and just bought Neutrogena Moisture Boost Gel. Tried Clinique lotion and it sucks! Caused oil seed all over my face WTF

7. Do you have freckles?
Yes… a little at the corner areas between cheek& under eye. Using some sample of Estee Lauder Cyber White serum but always tends to forget.

8. Do you use eye cream?
Yes! I swear to it because I have really terrible eye condition. Everlasting Dark Circles and Deep & Fine lines under the eye!!!FML. Until now, I am still searching for some miracle that can help me vanish of my problem, and that I why I love photo editing software!!

9. Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
I get occasional breakouts due to hormonal changes and when I have lack of sleep. When I use the wrong products, usually those too oily/rich for me, I will get lots of oil seeds, and the only way to solve it is to squeeze the 'oil' out.

10. Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
Nope. Don't even know what's that.

MAKEUP

11. What foundation do you use?
I use BB cream from Skin 79 the pink bottle and then top up with loose powder from Loving Minerals.

12. How about concealer?
I use Skin Food concealer especially for my dark circles.

13. Do you know your undertone color?
No idea.

14. What do you think of fake eyelashes?
It makes the eye super big and FAKE. And I don't know how to apply it on…

15. Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes. But I never followed cause the one I am using now is the one I used the most. Previously I never used mascara at all. Now for work sake, bo bien

16. What brand of mascara do you use?
Maybeline, the Magnum Volume Express. Bought it last minute from Guardian, and nothing so great to shout about.

17. Sephora or MAC?
None of it.

18. What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Fingers and hand for base application and the rest I use brushes.

19. Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Nope. Never tried cause I am still new to the 'make-up world'

20. For the face?
Nope as welll.

21. What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
I like Gold because I find that it made my eyes prettier.

22. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
I use pencil eye liner. Not ready to commit to the dramatic effect of liquid liner and the messiness in the event of an 'accident'.

23. How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Seldom, but I always end up making my eyes all teary and red.

24. What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Don't know. Never heard about it and never use it also.

25. Do you use mineral makeup?
I am using the loose powder but I think it's messy so I will change to normal compact powder after this.

26. What is your favorite lipstick?
I don't use lipstick because I don't like the oily feeling on my lips. It is disgusting to know that the oil stains stick on my Tupperware 'mouth'. Yucks!

27. How about lipgloss?
Nope. I use Vaseline only when my lips are cracked.

28. What is your favorite blush to use?
Mine is like 100 years old and I think it's Maybeline. I have no favorite just yet.. but I would love to try NARS brand.

29. Do you buy your makeup on eBay?
Nope. But Only online from Loving Minerals.

30. Do you like drugstore makeup?
Of course. Especially when you look at the price tag.

31. Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
I attended 1/3 of a class and will be going for the second session soon.

32. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
I can simply assume that. I always smudge my mascara, clump the lashes, accidently 'curl' my lids (ouch!) and the list goes on

33. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Pencil thin black eye brows without blushers. I call them ghost!

34. Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I love neutral tones.

35. Which celebrity always has great make up?
So many! I guess all of them!

36. If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Eye Brow Colour. And the SECOND is blusher.

37. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Why not? I do that all the time! :P

38. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I think I look natural. That will be the real ME without make up..

39. In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
No experience in any makeup line. So no comment on this.

40. What do you think of Makeup?
Make up is just a tool to enhance the features on a person. Still, a smile on the face works more miracle than any make up can do.

first day of 2011

oh well... i did not edit my resolutions like i said early this morning....
but am going to do it now. (like after i post this up) because i was busy watching my brother
play a game called Plant vs Zombies! while he's drunk alone at home! HAHAHAHAH


i tell you this is a super highly addictive game.. especially if you play it on your computer with full version. they have all the awesome challenging mini games, puzzles and survival games!
whoever i recommend it to will confirm be addicted to it (of course to those who play games and have knowledge of computer lah...i.e. not my mother) be it kids, adults, girls, boys, ladies, men...

and i super highly recommend to anyone reading here this game as it will keep your mind focussed on the game resulting in a super highly effective stress buster! opps... and also to pass time! i was addicted for the last two weeks of december till i complete all levels TWICE and play the Endless Survival and my highest score was 27 flags. not bad for a kid gamer like me! HAHHAHA

back to today, which is in the new year in the english calender.... i bet everyone here was happy that our beloved PM announced Dec 31 2010 as Public holiday due to our nation's football team won the Championship for some Suzuki cup or something. It however did not make me any happier cause i am on holiday anyway! :P

this morning, it was a good start for my family as we had our brunch together at The Gardens and went for shopping at Midvalley. Mom bought her cash register and I found my bag to match my shoes for CNY and also bought Pingu his Jeans from Levis as the promo will end tomorrow. Raymond as usual bought his G2000 shirts like some maniac! hahahahhaha
so its a good start when we spent the first half day of 2011 a happy note

Today is Christmas Day!!! yahoooo!!!!!!!!

Chistmas is anytime my favorite season of all!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
to me, its the happiest season, filled with gifts (read: ♥SHOPPING),
christmas trees and decorations everywhere and...
christmas jingles which are all so cheerful and happy....
ilove it when i hear the bells jingle.....it feels so...calm.. and warm...♥

i hated it when CNY songs pollute the radio stations when Christmas is not even over yet!!!! Dont they know how to respect Christmas??? all the lovely christmas jingles get polluted with money and making more money, and making more more money... ish ish...

it also means that the new year is coming soon and its time to do my new year resolution!!!
OMG! now i need to dig my 2010 resolution out.... see how many i have done (and not done)..
what i have achieved... and reflect on how much have i grown up (or not?? :P)
then i have got to sit down and seriously do my 2011 resolution! (maybe i'll lie down instead..hahah)

one this i know i have not done this year is my photobook!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!! i bought the voucher already and i have not even started doing it!!!!!!
stressed!! but cant help it much! i have no more lappy to do it with (depressed..again :( )
so i guess i'll have to put off this yearly project till i have a proper laptop to work on...
