Annual Trip - Kota Kinabalu - Part 1

Hi! i'm back from our annual ladies trip! #trippingals

Our annual trip is always so awesome that we pledge to do it every year till we are old, fat and wrinkly!

hahhahhahahha oh well, probably yennee will be the fattest then! wtf

what do we do on our trip? 

we pamper ourselves, we eat, we sleep, we laze around and we talk

we talk, we gossip, we laugh, we plan for our future

PLAN??? yeah we girls can plan ok!

every year, without fail, during our annual trip, we plan for..

OUR NEXT TRIP!!!

last year we chose Kota Kinabalu, Sabah as our destination this year

where we spent half of our time by the beach...

and the other half in the highest mountain on SEA!!

here are some of the pictures to show how awesome our trip was..

Part 1: Beach Edition

This is our Master Guide, Mr Zeke!

oh, did i mention that we stayed in a 5 star resort at Manukan Island?

though the breakfast and food there is not up to expectation, but the service was quite good

and yeah, we got free VIP boat ride to and back from the hotel

when we checked in we got welcome drinks and gift!

a yellow beaded traditional necklace :)

and when we checked out, got goodbye fruits also! hahahhaha

 this is where i slept for the two nights..

so nice and cosy hor.. ❤

the island had a Sun Set Point for us to view sunset, of course!

it was a 30 min walk they said, but to me, it was a 30 mins HIKE!!

so bloody tiring up and down the terrain in the jungle

then when we reach the point °O°

the view was mindblowing... on a cliff somemore

hahahaha mike and gigi dare not go further from where they are in this picture

God's magnificent creation! 

and oh, we also had VIP escort services to the sunset point..

only for us as one of the staff Shahrul was jogging then end up he became our guide and bodyguard!

we left pretty early as we want to avoid walking in the dark jungle at night

so we continued our sunset watching on the jetty

next morning, we woke up for breakfast, then we laze around on the beach 

(yeah i know! that bloody mozzie sucked up my blood!)

Manukan Island is open to public, but they had a section of the beach reserved only for in house guests

nah... bigger in case you cannot see how VIP we were

what do 4 pretty girls and 4 smart phones do??

we do awesome poses

and take awesome pictures

the next morning we woke up early to take pictures at the jetty before any intruders come to the island

it was peaceful and calm, relaxing of course!

after breakfast, we had to do some exercise!

then we had some pretty photo shoot again :)

then in the afternoon we went to the pool

also for in house guest only!!

they had this romantic day bed for siesta.. 

and this super deep pool where i cannot swim at all (even with life jacket)

the last night, we had our dinner in the only restaurant on the island, Perahu Restaurant

food was mediocre, like 'meh' only 

my recommendation, bring in instand noodles! 

we enjoyed ours the first night in our VILLA 

again, VIP, the only customers sitting indoors

our ride back to mainland, ahem, VIP ride again!! hahaha

and i shall end part 1 with the awesome view of the jetty @ Sutera Pacific

i am so so so so happy as i am typing now

when i heard the news, i went like ... WHAT??? 

really??? sure??? is it true???

dun lie lah ok???

OMG OMG OMG!!!

then my hands and feet turned icy cold.. 

my heart was beating super fast

anyway, the ultimate surprise was...

that i could go for an all expense paid trip in APRIL

did u read properly??

ALL EXPENSE PAID TRIP TO...

HOKKAIDO!!!!

how awesome is that right?? this is madness lor!!! 

but this trip got long story de....tell next time lah...

i think i am damn hang fuk hor? 

the rest of the places planned shall be a mystery..

guess yourself lah!

 in JUNE... for yours truly's birthday....

 in SEPTEMBER for our annual tripping girls trip!!

in NOVEMBER for our annual couple's retreat

and for the rest of the months not specified

 no lah! think i so mou liu meh? every other month go visit mosque!

actually my destination is .....

this! hhahahahaha damn boring hor?

sorry!! not at all lor... 

i have the adult version of this baby to feast my eyes on all day!!

when you are reading this now, i should be on a flight to Tokyo already...

so it'll be too late to ask for souvenirs!! muahahhahahaaa

Redang Trip May 2012

i must post this up before it hits ONE year anniversary!!

that is what i told myself! 

so i uploaded the pictures, and now, after 3 months.. i am only posting it wtf

we went for our ladies trip last year to redang!

with the perfect idea to feast our eyes on sexy hot guys on the beach...

maybe gigi and mike could hook up some..;)

but too bad... the place we booked ... was so faraway from the main redang beach!

super suitable for a quiet and peaceful beach holiday! - not what we had on our dirty little minds

one of the late mornings... see.. beach totally no people at all... all too peaceful... 

the sand here are quite coarse, some thing like small small stones... 

i prefer the ones on the main beach, those are like baby powder!

Redang Kalong Resort...

awesome place for divers and peace seeking people

we even had time to figure out how to climb on this coconut branch to take pictures..

the trick is walk backwards, upwards!

can act as superwoman some more!!

first time tried kayaking... scary at first... but later when i got the hang of rowing... it felt quite good..

still scary though.. when i think of 'what if i fall in the sea?'

then we went back to Kuala Terengganu town... for another day before our flight home...

we did some touristy thing there.. like visiting the Taman Tamadun Islam...

which i went before.. so this time.. i went as... A TOUR GUIDE.. with a china slang! 

HAHAHAHHHAAAA.. there were some indian tourist around... i dont know why but just that china slang came naturally and damn funny lo....

like i don't know what is mosque in mandrin, so i just 'mandrinised' the word mosque..it became mo-see-ke.. HAHAHAHHAH rotfl

great trip with my besties!!

am looking forward for our next trip this year!!

Japan Day 5: Universal Studios Japan - Kyoto

my post on Japan is going to be shorter and shorter...

getting lazy dy.. hahahhaa gonna just put links for self reading! 

early morning, we woke up and 'someone' set off some WWW1 atomic bomb

and this girl ended up like this!hahahhahaha

went to a nearby shop for breakfast

i ate Kitsune Udon, udon with tofu :P

the noodles are so yummy, springy, not too hard, not too soft!

that's the Tsūtenkaku tower behind us

NONE of us wanted to walk there to the tower, so we just took the picture from afar.

the area we stayed was actually deemed and seedy and dangerous which boasts a colourful history and unique identity.. well we didn't know that till our last morning there

if i knew, i would go for the 'porn cinemas' there

i haven't been to such old-school run down cinemas and what more, playing porn!! @_@

USJ day 2!!!

After USJ, we headed over to Kyoto

looked for our Minshuku where we had to walk so so far away

but that was when we witnessed the awesome truth about Japanese people!

they are super super helpful, kind, friendly and awesome

it was already late at night when we reached

and we could not find our Minshuku

and one kind gentleman...

was walking with his wife when we asked him for directions

he asked his wife to go home first and went all the way to guide us 

super ❤❤❤

then our Minshuku lady boss was super nice too!

she guided us to the best sushi stall every my baybee ate!

he ate like so so so much and it was super damn cheap 

i also ate quite a lot actually... with the fact that i dont eat raw food, no sea food except fish

i like the tempura fried salmon sushi the most!!

it was at this shop where we embarrassed ourselves, really..

ok, see the line of sushi in the above picture? we were sitting there picking our food

then we saw sushi on a bowl and we liked it!

we were thinking, wah! why those all on the bowl one so delicious der??

more expensive maybe? dun care lah, just eat!

we dont come all the way to japan and let good food pass you by!

so we took so so many on-the-bowl-sushi

after some time, we realised that there were colour indication on the bowl

OMG! only then we realised that it was to indicate specific orders for a specific table coded by colours!!

so we were like eating all the orders made by our next table!
