Remember my previous post on sponge cake?

Ping2 and I went back to Raub yesterday to run some errands. As we were cruising along the main street, I saw Sun Yuen Cheong. It’s a coffee shop right in the middle of our little two street town. It was the place we used to ‘ta pau’ toasted or steamed bread for tea break when we were doing our revision for SPM in the afternoons at school. And there are some other things that I liked there, where we will usually buy from those ‘roti man’ that comes selling bread stuff around our neighborhood in the evenings.

So I asked him to drop me there to see what’s available for purchase. When I saw what I saw…. My eyes gleamed!!! I can feel a big gush of happiness in me!!

Cupcakes… old time style….cheap and good! 20 cents only! Heaven…

The original sponge cake.. that I fondly remember… the size is just right… big enough! Ha! The size just did not shrink… I reallised, the difference is just the location; town and kampung
