Yesterday I went shopping at Jaya Grocer. That shopping session instantly revived my mood which was not very good at that time. I felt refreshed and happy after that. Why? What is it so special with that place?
1. It’s located near my office = NO TRAFFIC JAM
2. Plenty of parking place; FOC somemore!
3. New building, new outlet = CLEAN and looks nice
4. It’s like a local supermarket = gives me the cosy feeling…
5. My favorite toothpaste was sold at a very irresistible price = bought 3 packs!
6. Sells plenty of VEGE and a variety of fresh meat and fruits… fresh some more
7. Fair priced, complete with bakery and Non halal section!
8. NO QUEUES
9. Friendly and nice staff = service with many SMILES
10. Upon exit, one staff offered to push my cart to my car
11. He waited for me to open the car boot and loaded my groceries in for me too!!!!
12. awwwwww! That is so sweet and nice of him!
13. THAT MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!

That is how a simple gesture goes a long way!!

i hate to feel that i loathe what i used to love
i hate to give up so easily
i hate to realise that i feel i am always so negative
i hate to realise that i do not have a dream
i hate to know the fact that i cant go far without dreaming
i hate to know that i hate so many things about myself

I AM A TOTAL MESS
why am i having this kind of shitty feelings lately?

God was kind...

He let me have some colour in my life

i have plenty of reason to smile...
to learn to look at the brighter side of life
to appreciate what i have now
to realise that i actually have some dreams..
only that i never identified it!
and to learn to face all the crap that i hate

thank you to all that bring me sunshine and colour to my life...

1. Went back to PJ home while waiting for collegue.
2. Reached home and saw this!!! Fan at speed no.4 and wooden door NOT LOCKED!
3. Thought my housemates are at home. Checked. Not a single soul. Got mad and pissed of due to the inconsiderateness of housemates and the ignorance to safety.
4. Sent SMS out informing them and reminding them to ensure all doors are locked when there is no one at home!! don't they know this?? WTF?? study so much dy this kind of simple safety precaution also need me to teach ah???
5. Collegue called. Went and fetch her and on the way, bought myself one of my favorite fruits, the RED dragonfruit!! yum yum!!!
6. Upon reaching the parking, i realised i lost my parking access card. Which is hooked up together with my office door entrance access card!!! FML! First thing came to my mind is the amount i need to pay for the penalty.
7. Immediately, my mood went from bad to worse!!! Went home in hope to search for my cards....
8. Food makes me happy! Epecially if its one of my favorites... so while driving... i popped one into my mouth... yum yum!!! ONE is never enough.. so while the next piece is on the way to my mouth, the stupid thing landed on my blouse!!!!!!! FML!!!!!
9. FML!! FML!!!! chanting all the way back home! That's why they say, dont eat and drive!FML!!!
10. Thank god, when i reached home, i saw this... i felt relieved.
11. So i changed into my big tshirt... and finished off the whole packet of fruit. Look at my hand!! why am i so clumsy?? how can i be elegant if this is how i eat my fruits? God help me!
12. Happy. Washed my blouse and change to a new one and headed back to work. Forgot to change my matching earings. Argghhhhhh....
13. I thought my life was turning into something wonderful when my friend, Shin Yee told me she boiled some blue dates drink for me... awwwww....
14. So i went home feeling better and cooked dinner. Was on the phone with baybee while cooking. Ended up i forget to put all the ingredients i was supposed to but still the dish turned out good. I AM A GOOD COOK!~!!~!
15. Having such good mood i started cleaning up the kitchen and so i thought the kitchen towels are all so dirty... so i soaked them in hot boiling water. Shin yee said she boils them to kill germs... so i follow suit.
16. This is the end result after 3 hours. FML!

Influenza H1N1 scare

Posted by shonitay at 8/04/2009 03:28:00 PM 0 comments
I had sore throat on Saturday… then was down with flu with a little fever on Sunday and Monday, so I took MC and stayed at home to rest. At night, I thought it would be better if I go for a check with the hospital. Was advised to go to Sungai Buloh Hospital but I didn’t know how to get there. So I went to HUKM instead. I reached at about 10.30pm and went straight to the emergency section. When I enquired about the test, I was informed that they do not simply perform throat swab on everyone. I had to first see the doctor, which I was told by the staff that it will take me 5 hours and after that the chances are that I will be diagnosed with common flu and fever only!!wtf?!?! Then I asked, how about the other hospitals or even private ones that performs such test?? I wouldn’t mind paying for it. He said that other government hospitals would be the same and as for private hospitals, he would have no idea.. Then on the way back to PJ, I thought, since I would be passing by Damansara Specialist HOSPITAL, why not I drop in and check whether they have the service there. To my utter dismay, they said they don’t perform tests for H1N1 there. I had to refer to SG Buloh Hospital or Selayang Hospital.

Today (Tuesday) felt very much better already. However so, many advised me to go to a government hospital for a throat swab.. to play on the safe side especially when there’s news that some people with no complete symptoms are tested positive. So after my physiotherapy for my knee, I headed to Sg Buloh Hospital after so many referrals to go there. After wondering whether to go to the emergency section or the normal section, I decided to go to the normal ward, as I do not see any specific counter for H1N1 at the emergency. After finding a nice spot to park, I went in to enquire, only to be redirected to Poliklinik Kesihatan Kg Melayu some 10 minutes away from the hospital. So with the map provided, I drove there. Got lost as I thought the JAMBATAN on the map refers to a overhead bridge. Haha!! Found a Klinik Kesihatan after the surau, but it is called Klinik Kesihatan Sungai Buloh. Wtf?? Can’t they get the name right?? Ok. Fine. Got in and found a parking… put on my Rm15 N95 mask, and headed in to ask for the counter to test H1N1 and I was told that….
“Kita tak buat test di sini.” WTF?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!
“Mungkin you boleh cuba di hospital lain atau private.” WTF!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!
Then I saw this!! Wtf!!!!! If they don’t perform the test here??? Then where???? I am so pissed off with our country’s health care services. They say go to the nearest hospital if you have the symptoms. WTF!!! I have been here and there and everywhere… and I ended getting a notice that H1N1 test are not performed!!!! WTF!!!! No wonder there are more and more people getting infected by the virus!! Our country is just not serious in COMBATING this issue. Live are at stake now!!!!!!!!! HELLO HEALTH MINISTER!!! Whoever you are!!!!!!! Stop all the politicking and start doing the right thing!!!!!!!!!!

Then I called up Sg Buloh Hospital and the sweet lady confirmed that I was at the right place. She advised me to request to see a doctor instead of requesting for a throat swab. So in I went again and I got this…. OMG!! I had to wait after 212 people before I could get myself REGISTERED! After the long wait, finally I got registered and then I had to wait for about 30 people before it was my turn to see the doctor. Praise the Lord! Doctor said I am not contacted with the H1N1 virus. But then later she say, actually many people can get infected by the virus, but as long as the body immune system is strong, then there wont be serious harm. So what I need to do is continue to complete the antibiotic course the clinic gave me and take lots of vitamin C. I am supposed to buy it from the pharmacy outside because the ones available in the hospital are not strong enough. Wtf!?!?! This H1N1 is so bad these days and why is the hospital not stocked with sufficient STRONG vitamin C??

So, from now on everyone must keep their immune system strong. SLEEP EARLY, DRINK LOTS OF WATER and EXERCISE regularly… (I’ll try..hahaha!!)

Since I am complaining so much regarding our healthcare… additional information here:
The last time when I went to Singapore, at the checkpoint to enter Singapore, there were people with Polaroid camera-like thing to check our body temperature. If anyone is found with fever, I guess our friendly neighbour would deny entry to its territory…. That’s how protective Singapore is of its citizen!

Negaraku, Malaysia however, as I was returning from Singapore, there was NO ONE who checked our body temperature or car at all!!! Just check your passport and off you go. Why only apply the checking at airports??? Why not at the causeway?? Now you know how much your country loves you!! Now you know where the HEALTH of the citizen stands compared to the WEALTH the government can accumulate from politics!

Which is more important to you?? HEALTH or WEALTH??
