What you need to know when subscribing for Beauty Box! TIPS!!

there is a new trend in town called.. Beauty Box
this is a subscription to a box of deluxe sized samples (sometimes there's full sized products too) with a fixed fee payable monthly...
you will receive a box every month filled with goodies beautifully packed :)
the thrill is YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT's INSIDE! 
the fun part is OPENING beautifully wrapped package and discover what is it inside!
it's like receiving a present every month, but this, you pay for it lah! hahahha

so this month for the first time i subscribed to not one but TWO beauty boxes #greedy
i did my survey and read reviews and finally decided to subscribe to modbox and wonderbox
there is another new one in town called thelilacbox which i bought too as well as i felt the box sounds so tempting.. all premium products wor...

the one and only thing that one must know when you have subscribed to beauty boxes is...

TO WAIT FOR YOUR BOX!!

never ever go scouting and finding reviews 

to know what's in your box!

i did that and i totally regretted it! FML!

i know the anticipation is so strong that you can't resist the temptation to know what is the surprise you will get....but trust me, once you know it already, all your money worth that you have paid will go down the drain! #truestory

when modbox said the boxes were sent out already, my heart was racing so fast..
every single time my office bell rang, i feel excited.... i kept on checking back on facebook to see have anyone received it, any reviews, NONE! *disappointed and then i saw one lady got her box and was so happy! that's it! no reviews nothing! i got even more jealous and impatient. 
so when my box finally came! OMG i was super happy can die! 
every single layer of items i removed until i see what is it inside the box made me more and more excited! 
the feeling was awesome!!!!

so then the next box i was due to receive was wonderbox. i was like tak sabar-sabar je.. cause from the first box, i was so excited to know what surprise i will receive! so i search high and low for any reviews.. stalked their facebook to see if there is any hint.... and yeah!! yes! i found a review of this month's box! 
OMG so mad happy ! #bigaccomplishment once i opened the blogpost and read the review, the excitement went from 100000% to 1%. THAT'S IT! 
so instead it became a boring wait for the box, and when i received it, there was not heart racing, nor and feeling except that i just needed to ensure i got the same products like what other's did :| i felt just...meh....

WonderBox January 2013 Valentines Edition

Got my box yesterday evening...

Ripped the package off immediately in office itself!

Can't even wait till I go home .. This is urgent matter ok!

Murad face mask! i loved this! something that could do miracle to my skin

Hair chalk! immediately tried it on my hair and it became electric blue!!! coool!!

but i guess its too drying for my hair and too cool too.. 

(i'm just too hot! that is why! bwahahaha)

so will give it to some lucky people!

my friend commented that my spaghetti is all broken to short strands

hahaha.. well, that's the proof that it's my first attempt and btw

i was using the vermicelli version which i prefer; smaller strands and cuter

ok not nice at all cause there wasn't any gravy from the meat..

should there be, i guess it would be quite ok

MODBOX - January 2013 Edition

this is the story of my first beauty box experience

definitely more to come ;)

so after reviewing from many beauty bloggers, i have decided to subscribe to two beauty boxes this month

first to announce delivery was Modbox!

when i saw the post on their Facebook page, i was super excited!

kept on wishing it was here whenever a courier guys comes in to office

and finally~! today it arrived!

when i saw the courier guy brought a package in, my heart was racing so fast 

i quickly asked him, is it for me??? shoni??? yes?? yes?? 

i was quite pissed off though when he took his own sweet time to figure out how to pronounce the name

"ssss-o-n-y", he said!!!

YES!!! MINE MINE MINE!!!!

oh i waited so long for you! HHAHAHAHAA

Review of Resolution 2012

Review time to see how i performed in 2012

1. restraining to put loosing weight as the first option but failed. so to keep me happy... lose 100g this year!- FAILED! gained weight some more wtf!
2. clear of my credit card debt - Nope. no i didn't clear, but i was significantly lesser. Japan trip cost was in there too, just in case you forgot :)
3. start paying off my PTPTN loan - Yes i did!!! RM50 almost every month
4. live healthier by exercising more.. need more bone mass - I DID... beginning of the year only :(
5. save rm300 every month -  YES! in the form of installment for my civic on behalf of pingu
6. splurge on a trip tailored exclusively for my ♥ - NOPE. cancelled due to personal reasons
7. organise the annual girls trip - YEAH BABY!! we went to redang! 
8. learn to love more...and live life simpler...- yeah i guess, i did and as BONUS, i became more generous too!!
9. donate to charity - if donating old clothes count, yeah i did!
10. complete my 2011 photobook - Yeah baby!! Japan trip!! Star cruise trip!
11. blog at least twice every month  - *slumps head and buries it in ground
12. plan for my next big trip... - yeah! Hokkaido baby!!
13. be happy and contented! -  still on the learning curve... one step at a time

so conclusion how did i fare? 7.5/13 = 57% 
oklah.. PASS!

Resolution 2013

three months!
ok.. more than that i guess.. there goes my 2012 resolution

even though its late, but still,  HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!! 

as usual, i shall start my year with a resolution post!

here are mine for 2013  and i hope to keep it... jeng jeng jeng..

1. LOSE WEIGHT! target 62kg. *optimistic
2. Give more love to my nails and hair *buys all vouchers for pedicure and hair treatment
3. Bathe before 10pm *challenge accepted
4. Earn RM200 from business venture
5. Cash savings of RM2,500.00
6. Clear all credit card debt
7. Go for trips!! - 'tripping gals' trip & lovebirds trip
8. Master 2 new dish for Pingu - last year i did bread, sushi, cake, cookies
9. Have courage to express my thought/feelings
10. EXERCISE!!
